CFJC nominated for three industry awards

KAMLOOPS — CFJC’s newsroom has been named as a finalist for three prestigious broadcast awards.

The Radio Television Digital News Association has unveiled its 2020 Western Region award finalists.

You’re Not Alone, a special series produced by Ashley Legassic with editor Kent Simmonds focusing on suicide and its impacts, is a finalist for Best Long Feature.

CFJC’s new political interview series Balance of Power is a finalist for TV News Information Program.

And B-100’s 5:00 p.m. newscast is nominated for Best Radio Newscast.
