Lady Gaga’s Cold Turkey

Lady Gaga is opening up about what she went through to quit smoking in a new interview with New Music Daily with Zane Lowe on Apple Music.

While chatting about her upcoming music and album, the 33-year-old musician revealed that she actually went cold turkey to quit the habit. “I’m not smoking anymore, but I’d smoke 40 cigarettes all day long,” she shared. Gaga added, “I swear on my life I’m not smoking cigarettes. I completely quit – I quit cold turkey. But it was so hard.”

She also advised fans to never even start. “If you don’t smoke, don’t smoke! Because quitting is worse. It is so brutal. And I will never smoke again because I think I saw Jesus for an entire week. It was so awful.”

Gaga has just released her long-awaited new single, “Stupid Love.” The video finds Gaga decked out in an intergalactic pink ensemble on a mission to bring peace and positivity to the world.

Gaga has yet to announce the title or release date for her upcoming sixth studio album.
