Kamloops Storm returning to McArthur Island Olympic rink

KAMLOOPS —- The Kamloops Storm are returning to McArthur Island.

In a media release the Storm say the move is “experimental in nature as we seek to engage the potential North Shore fan base and get an idea of what the potential future back at the Island would look like.”

The Olympic rink at McArthur Island was the Storms home for the teams first ten years in Kamloops.

The Storm moved to Memorial Arena in 2016, but the attendance has never been what it had been during their time at McArthur Island.

The Storms first round playoff opponent will be the Birks Division champion Revelstoke Grizzlies.
