Blazers goaltender Garand “won’t play for a few weeks yet.”

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Blazers goaltender Dylan Garand is listed as week-to-week.

He has been out since being injured in a goal crease collision in a February 1 game against the Vancouver Giants.

According to a text message from the Blazers Garand “won’t play for a few weeks yet.”

Garand missed three games this past weekend — two against Victoria and one against Vancouver.

With Garand out Rayce Ramsay has been thrust into the starting role, with 16-year old Dylan Ernst as the backup.
