Paramount Theatre to screen full roster of films during 24th Annual Kamloops Film Festival

KAMLOOPS — With over 20 films in the lineup, and plenty of events to compliment the experience, film lovers in Kamloops will have loads of viewing options at this year’s Kamloops Film Festival .

The 24th annual event runs from March 5-14 from the Paramount Theatre downtown, and features a number of Canadian, independent, and foreign films.

This year’s lineup includes Call Me Crazy: The Legend of Mike Wiegele, which documents the life of local area snow sport / heli-skiing mogul, Mike Wiegele. For this showing (Friday, March 6 at 6pm), Mike himself, and the director will be in attendance. Call Me Crazy will be shown as a double feature that evening with Six Days in December. (March 6 at 7pm)

There is also a call for submissions to be entered for the Kamloops Independent Short Short Film Festival part of the event, which celebrates local filmmakers, and the short film format.

Submissions will be accepted for the KISS Film Festival until Feb. 29, and the screenings will be Sunday, March 8.
