KAMLOOPS — A passenger bus company that serves the Trans Canada Highway corridor through the B.C. Interior is applying to increase its route frequency.

Rider Express already makes daily runs between Kamloops and Vancouver, stopping in Merritt along with three other cities along the way.

Twice a week, the route extends to include an eastern leg with stops in Golden, Revelstoke, Sicamous and Salmon Arm.

In an application to B.C.’s Passenger Transportation Board (PTB), the company proposes to increase its frequency along that eastern leg to daily.
