City of Kamloops fuel management begins in Pineview Valley, Westsyde, Kenna Cartwright Park

KAMLOOPS — Wildfires may be the last thing on our minds right now, but the City of Kamloops has begun seasonal work to prevent the spread of fires in local natural areas.
According to a City of Kamloops news release, fuel management activity has already begun for the year.
Contractors have been working around Pineview Valley and Westsyde, as well as in Kenna Cartwright Park.
The City says its contractors will be removing danger trees, pruning and thinning others, and burning piles of debris.
