Romance Is In The Air

Amazon’s most romantic cities includes plenty of B.C. content, but Kamloops doesn’t rate

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops has not made Amazon’s annual list of most romantic cities in Canada, but there is plenty of representation from the B.C. Interior.

Amazon releases a list of the 20 most romantic cities in Canada every year leading up to Valentine’s Day. It bases its rankings on sales of “romance novels (both print and Kindle editions), romantic comedies, relationship books, jewellery and sexual wellness products.”

No. 1 on the list for 2020 is Fort McMurray, Alta., followed by Toronto and Yellowknife.

Kelowna makes the list at No. 9, while Quesnel comes in at No. 13. Cranbrook ranks at No. 14, Prince George is at No. 18 and Revelstoke squeezes onto the list at No. 20.
