WolfPack basketball honours fifth-year players in final home games of regular season
KAMLOOPS — Last night marked the final home games of the regular season for both Thompson Rivers University WolfPack men’s and women’s basketball.
Following a 75-50 loss to the University of Fraser Valley Cascades on Friday night, the WolfPack women wound up falling 91-76 to the Cascades Saturday night at the TCC.
Thompson Rivers was led by 5th year Emma Piggin with 19 points, 5th year guard Leilani Carney with 16 points, alongside 17 points from 4th year Jordin Wilkinson, and another 16 from 3rd year Jordon Haggerty.
Despite the loss, there was plenty of celebration from the TCC, as the WolfPack honoured Carney and Piggin as outgoing 5th year players in the program.
