KAMLOOPS — At the B.C. Women’s Curling Playdowns in Cranbrook the two Kamloops rinks met this afternoon in the round robin.
Karla Thompson stole her final four points over the last three ends, putting it to a handshake after seven in an 8-3 win over Corryn Brown.
Brown, at 3-and-2, is in a tie for second in the eight team round robin.
The win significantly improves Thompson’s playoff chances, at 2-and-2, with top four making the playoff round.
