WolfPack women’s volleyball move up in USPORTS top ten
KAMLOOPS — A weekend sweep has propelled the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women’s volleyball team up a spot in the latest U SPORTS National top ten rankings.
The Pack (now 15-5) swept the University of British Columbia Okanagan Heat at home last weekend. As a result, their ELO of 1663.34 has moved and pushed them from 10th spot last week to number nine this time around.
There is a new number one team. The defending national champion Trinity Western University Spartans have moved back atop of the national rankings. The Spartans, who will be in Kamloops to close out the Canada West regular season on February 14-15th have an 18-2 record and an ELO of 1823.86. They are up from second spot last week.
Dalhousie Tigers have dropped to second from first. The Tigers are 15-0 and have an ELO of 1814.10.
