Kamloops rinks 1-and-1 in opening draw of B.C. women’s and men’s curling playdowns

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops rinks were 1-and-1 this morning in the first draw of the B.C. women’s and men’s curling playdowns in Cranbrook.

Corryn Brown has opened with a 9-4 win over Victoria’s Dailene Pewarchuk.

2016 B.C. champion Karla Thompson from Kamloops is also playing in the 8-rink 2020 playdowns, and will play her first game in draw two.

On the men’s side Grant Olsen lost 11-2 to Sean Geall.
