Vernon RCMP issue appeal for tips on missing hotel manager

VERNON, B.C. — A Vernon man remains missing for a third day, with RCMP now issuing an official plea for tips on his whereabouts.

Thirty-eight-year-old Jay Rosenberger was last seen Friday night (Jan. 24) at the Village Green Hotel where his family says he works as a manager.

His family says he never returned to work the next day, his car is missing, his phone is dead, and police have been notified.

“Police are very concerned for Jay’s health and well-being and friends and family report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long,” said RCMP Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

Police say Rosenberger may be driving a light grey 2002 Mazda 626 car with B.C. license plate JV276F.
