Kindergarten registration in Kamloops-Thompson gets started next week

KAMLOOPS — School District 73 is hoping to avoid lineups next week as registration opens for kindergarteners heading into schools of choice.
In a piece posted to its website, the district says registration for these schools is no longer on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration opens Monday morning (Jan. 27) and closes at 12:00 noon on Friday (Jan. 31).
This applies to parents of children who turn five during the calendar year 2020 and plan on attending French Immersion, Montessori, arts and science and technology schools.
