Walloper Lake to host Family Ice Fishing Day

KAMLOOPS — Ice fishing professionals are lending their expertise to all today, (Jan. 19) at the Walloper Family Ice Fishing Day.
Hosted by the Kamloops and District Fish and Game Association, fishing gear and bait will be provided, and the ice fishing holes will be pre-drilled.
Participants are asked to dress extra warmly, and to make sure they have good, water-proof footwear. Burgers, hot dogs, donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate will also be available.
The event is free but donations are welcome, and runs from 10am to 2pm from Walloper Lake Provincial Park.
