Discount airline Swoops into Kamloops with Edmonton direct offering

AMLOOPS — Discount air carrier Swoop has announced plans for a direct Kamloops-to-Edmonton return flight starting next spring.

The flights are scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays every week starting April 30.

Fares start as low as about $90 one way, however extras such as baggage, priority boarding and even seats each carry an extra charge.

At present, travellers between Kamloops and Edmonton need to stop in Calgary if they are flying with Westjet, or Vancouver if they are flying with Air Canada.
