McLeese Lake General Store robbed at gunpoint

McLEESE LAKE, B.C. — Police are seeking witnesses to a robbery at the McLeese Lake General Store.

Williams Lake RCMP say it happened Wednesday night (Dec.11).

“At around 6:00 p.m. an unknown suspect, armed with a firearm, entered the store and demanded all the cash from the till and lotto tickets,” says Cst. Joel Kooger.

The suspect is described as:

  • 5’10”
  • White
  • Stocky build
  • Blue eyes
  • Wearing a dark grey or black balaclava with only eyes showing
  • Black hoodie

Kooger says no one was injured during the incident and says the investigation is ongoing.
