Blazers forward Zary cut from National Junior team selection camp.

KAMLOOPS — Connor Zary will be back with the Kamloops Blazers for weekend games in his hometown Saskatoon and Prince Albert.

Zary was cut today from the National Junior selection camp in Oakville, Ontario.

Zary expressed disappointment when he was passed over when the initial camp roster was named last week, and then was later added as an injury replacement.

His chances of sticking were hurt and Canada’s world junior hopes got another big boost with the announcement today that the Arizona Coyotes have loaned centre Barrett Hayton to the national team.
