LEGASSIC: Sticking to a healthy lifestyle and trying not to over-indulge during the holidays
It seems like everywhere I go during the month of December, there are oodles of savoury, sweet and overall delicious dishes.
It can make sticking to a healthy regimen extremely difficult.
I went to my first official holiday party of the season this past weekend, where there were offerings of ribs, chicken wings, chili, bread, sweets, and too many other treats to name.
I knew starting a healthier journey in December was going to be difficult, so I came to the party prepared — veggie tray in hand — to keep myself satisfied instead of reaching for the temptations.
