Young woman taken to hospital after being struck by vehicle in Aberdeen

KAMLOOPS — An 18-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Aberdeen.

At roughly 7:00 p.m. last night (Dec. 5), Kamloops RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian-involved crash at Aberdeen Drive and Van Horne Drive.

“A pedestrian was attempting to cross Aberdeen Drive at that location when she was struck by a vehicle,” Staff Sgt. Sascha Fesenko says in a news release. “The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.”

The 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital.
