Baragano to attend Switzerland’s world junior hockey camp

KAMLOOPS — The Blazers will be losing its other import playing for the final portion of their six-game Prairie road trip.

Defenseman Inaki Baragano has been invited to Switzerland’s world junior hockey camp. He leaves the team on Monday, meaning he’ll miss the final four games of the trip.

The 18-year-old Baragano, in his first year in Kamloops, has three goals and two assists in 27 games this season. He’s a plus-five on the back end.

The Blazers will also be without forward Martin Lang during the last four games of the trip. Lang was invited to Czech Republic’s camp.
