LIONEL RICHIE ON SOFIA & SCOTT: Lionel Richie has “accepted” his 21-year-old daughter Sofia Richie‘s relationship with the 36-year-old Scott Disick, E! reports. “Lionel has accepted their relationship but still isn’t entirely 100 percent on board with Scott mostly because of the age difference and how young Sofia is,” the source tells E!. “Lionel can see how happy Sofia is though so he is definitely making more of an effort with Scott.” (E!)

WES BALL TO HELM PLANET OF THE APES: Disney has snagged Wes Ball to direct a new Planet of the Apes film. TBD if the franchise will continue the story of the last three Apes films, or if it will reboot the franchise. This will be the first Planet produced under the Disney banner after it acquired 20^th Century Fox. (Vulture)

JASON MOMOA SLAMS CHRIS PRATT: Chris Pratt was criticized by Jason Momoa for posing with a plastic water bottle while announcing his Amazon collab. “Bro I love u but wtf on the water bottle,” Momoa wrote in a comment on Pratt’s post. “No single use plastic. Come on.” In response, Pratt replied back, “Aquaman! You’re completely right. Dammit. I always carry my big gallon size reusable water jug around with me too. I even had it that day!!! If I remember correctly somebody threw that plastic bottle to me in the photo shoot cause I didn’t know what to do with my hands! I never know what to do with my hands! So uncomfortable. For real tho. Love you too buddy. My bad. I don’t want your home of Atlantis covered in plastic. Hear that kids? Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.” (People)

JON BON JOVI PLAYS NEW TUNE AT ROCKEFELLER: Jon Bon Jovi performed a new song to a half-empty ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center Plaza Tuesday. NBC tried to fill the area so they could fill a segment that will air during the Christmas tree-lighting special today (Wednesday). In the end, 300 people showed up ant Bon Jovi took the stage. The 57-year-old debuted “Unbroken,” a song featured in the Netflix documentary To Be of Service. (Page Six)

ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY GETS REAL: Rosie Huntington Whiteley opened up about her struggle to lose her baby weight. She welcomed her first child with Jason Statham and is now expecting a child with husband Justin Ervin. She told Ashley Graham on her podcast, Pretty Big Deal of losing the weight: “I would look in the mirror and I was like, ‘I have 35 to 40 pounds to lose. And I go to the gym, go to the gym, go to the gym. It’s not falling off, it’s not coming off, and it was very humbling for me, because having had a certain body type for most of my life … I will say working out in the gym and looking back at myself and feeling like sh*t, I was like, ‘Now I understand how hard it is for some people to get to the gym.’” Seven months after giving birth she had a photoshoot, and she was shocked by some of the cruel comments. Ultimately, though, she said it made her stronger: “Because I feel better, and I feel a different respect for my body than I did before.” (ET)
