Alanis Morissette Announces Tour
Alanis Morissette announced Monday that she will celebrate her 1995 album, Jagged Little Pill, with a 25th anniversary tour featuring Garbage and Liz Phair.
Morissette will perform 31 dates in North America. The North American leg begins June 2nd in Portland, Oregon, and ends July 25th in Nashville, Tennessee. Pre-sale tickets for those on Morissette’s mailing list begin December 10th. General tickets go on sale December 13th.
Jagged Little Pill is Morissette’s third studio album and features the singles “You Oughta Know,” “Hand in My Pocket” and “Ironic.” The album inspired a new Broadway musical written by Diablo Cody that will debut at New York’s Broadhurst Theatre on December 5th.
Morissette will release Such Pretty Forks in the Road, her first album since 2012’s Havoc and Bright Lights, on May 1st. She also shared the new single “Reasons I Drink” on Monday.
