ASK Wellness Society to host World AIDS Day candlelight vigil

KAMLOOPS —Today marks World AIDS day – and organizations around the world are working to commemorate and raise awareness about AIDS, and the global spread of the HIV virus.

In Kamloops, the ASK Wellness Society will be hosting an event to honour and remember those who lost their lives to AIDS, acknowledge and support those living with HIV / AIDS, and to commemorate progress made on treatments.

Live music and appetizers start at 4pm, with the candlelight vigil beginning at 5pm from Spero House- at 317 Tranquille Road.

ASK Wellness notes that all are welcome, and there is no RSVP required.
