Kamloops is in for a cold spell this week
KAMLOOPS — So far, Kamloops has lucked out with fairly mild temperatures for the month of November, but that won’t last much longer.
Environment Canada meteorologist Gregg Walters says come Tuesday, a cold front will make its way across the Southern Interior.
“That’s going to spread some fairly cold air over the region for the end of the week, so by early on Wednesday morning, looking at temperatures around -10 C and only getting up to about -3 C on Wednesday, and even colder on Thursday and Friday, looking at highs only getting up to -5 C to -6 C, and overnight lows around -11 C to -12 C,” Walters says.
Although we’ll be getting our first true blast of winter temperatures, Walters says snow is not yet in the forecast.
