Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are on “different paths” from Prince William and Kate Middleton after power-shifts, hurt feelings and ongoing tension, People reports.

Still, despite “some competitiveness” between William and Harry, Meghan and Kate are fine, just completely different.

A royal source says: “Meghan is very aware that Kate will be Queen; their roles are very clear.”

Still, Meghan’s penchant for doing her own thing may cause issues. “Meghan doesn’t fit the mold, while Kate was groomed for this,” says the source, who adds that Meghan was a “fully formed person” while Kate was still a student when she and William fell in love.
