KAMLOOPS — Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the North Thompson, South Thompson and 100 Mile House.
In the statement, Environment Canada says an approaching frontal system could bring flurries tonight and Saturday morning (Nov. 22).
“The warm air aloft combined with near or below zero temperatures at the surface will result in a risk of freezing rain,” the statement says. “The flurries with the risk of freezing rain will change to rain showers Saturday afternoon as temperatures rise above zero.”
Roads and walkways may become icy and slippery.
