RCMP say the collision at the intersection of Seymour Street and Eighth Avenue resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to the 13-year-old pedestrian.

The video shows the boy attempting to cross Seymour on a skateboard within the crosswalk. A heavy truck has stopped at the left of the frame, apparently to let the boy cross.

As the pedestrian enters the crosswalk, the Buick drives past, clipping him and knocking him down. The Buick can be seen slowing down after the impact before continuing on.

The boy pops back up after the collision, limping to the side of the road.

RCMP say the driver would clearly have known that the collision took place.
