SAM WORTHINGTON, DAVID HYDE PIERCE JOIN THE GEORGETOWN PROJECT: Miramax‘s The Georgetown Project is welcoming Sam Worthington and David Hyde Pierce to its supernatural horror production, already starring Russell Crowe. Joshua John Miller and M.A. Fortin (Queen of the South) have signed on to write and direct the story, which follows troubled actor Anthony Miller (Crowe), who begins to have a break down while filming a horror film.

MARTIN MCDONAGH’S HANGMEN TO HIT BROADWAY: Martin McDonagh‘s Hangmen will debut on Broadway this spring, the latest in line of West End transfers to hit Broadway. Hangmen is the four-time Tony nominee McDonagh’s seventh play to hit Broadway, including the wildly successful The Pillowman and The Beauty Queen of Leenane.

DOWNTON ABBEY PRODUCER ADAPTING ANYONE: Carnival Films, the NBCUniversal-owned banner behind Downton Abbey, has snagged the rights to Anyone, the second novel by Charles Soule, the bestselling comic book author best known for Daredevil and She-Hulk. The novel will be adapted for TV, with Soule exec producing alongside Carnival’s Gareth Neame, Nigel Marchant and Joanna Strevens. Anyone will drop from Harper Perennial next month, and will follow the story of a brilliant female scientist who creates tech to allow the transfer of human consciousness between bodies.

DAVID SCHWIMMER REVEALS FIRST LOOK AT INTELLIGENCE: David Schwimmer‘s new Sky One comedy about a maverick American intelligence agent and a British computer analyst, is set to premiere on February 18th, 2020. Schwimmer shared the news on Twitter Monday, and offered a first look at his NSA officer character.
