Who’s Got the Best Selling Rock LP?

Twenty One Pilots‘ fourth album, Blurryface, is the best selling rock LP of the past decade.

Blurryface has sold more than 6.5 million copies worldwide, with over four million sales coming from the U.S. alone. The 2015 record sat on the album charts for nine weeks at Number One, while spending a total of 234 weeks — more than four years — on the chart.

Blurryface is also officially the most streamed album by any group ever. The LP surpassed 3.5 billion streams just on Spotify as of last July and is the most popular streaming album by a group. Out of the 14 tracks on Blurryface, “Stressed Out” was the most popular with more than one billion streams.

Every cut on the album has also been certified gold by the RIAA. In addition to “Stressed Out,’ Blurryface featured the massive hits “Ride” and “Tear In My Heart.”
