KAMLOOPS — Tolko has announced more curtailments — this time in the form of a holiday season shutdown.
The Vernon-based forestry company says all of its BC operations will take downtime from December 21 through January 6. The Vernon administrative office will be closed from the week of December 23 to 27.
The company says staffing levels at all of its BC mills will be kept to only essential services during the downtime.
The move comes after Tolko announced the permanent closure of its Kelowna mill last week.
