Police release surveillance photos, description after crime spree that spanned Kamloops, Merritt, Kelowna

KAMLOOPS — Southeast District RCMP are releasing more information and surveillance photos as they try to track down a suspect and vehicle believed to be responsible for a crime spree through the Southern Interior this week.

The spree involved counterfeit money and reckless driving of a pickup truck that involved striking several vehicles, including an RCMP cruiser. Incidents were reported in Kamloops, Merritt and Kelowna.

RCMP have released a description and photos of one of the persons-of-interest in the spree, as well as a photo of the truck believed to be involved.

Suspect description:

  • White
  • Mid 20s to mid 30s
  • About 5’6″
  • Medium build
  • Brown hair
  • Some facial hair
  • Chipped right upper tooth
  • Wearing jeans, grey and black jacket, black ball cap with a white diamond-shaped logo and a sticker on the brim
