Kamloops’ Brown rink opens Grand Slam Tier Two Challenge with a win

KAMLOOPS —-The Corrine Brown rink from Kamloops has opened the Grand Slam of Curling Tier two challenge in Nova Scotia with a win.

Brown took control early and never trailed in a 4-2 win over Suzanne Birt from Charlottetown.

Brown scored one in the 2nd, 1 in the 4th with the scored tied 1-1, stole the 5th end and then sealed it with one in the 8th.

The Kamloops rink is coming off back-to-back cash bonspiel wins in Abbotsford and their hometown Crown of Curling.
