CAROL BURNETT TO REPRISE ‘MAD ABOUT YOU’ ROLE: Variety reports that Carol Burnett will reprise her role as Jamie’s mother Theresa Stemple in “Mad About You.” The revival will air its first six episode on Spectrum Originals on Nov. 20th and the final episodes air on Dec. 18th.

MEL GIBSON TO STAR IN ‘LEO FROM TOLEDO’: Mel Gibson and Frank Grillo will star in Joe Carnahan’s thriller “Leo From Toledo.” According to Variety, the project centers on Gibson’s character, a former killer for the Kansas City mob, now hiding in witness protection.

SETH MEYERS’ NEW NETFLIX SPECIAL WILL HAVE A ‘SKIP POLITICS’ BUTTON: Seth Meyers will release his Netflix standup special, “Lobby Baby,” today (November 5th), and the streaming service has added a totally new feature for it. During a segment in which Meyers begins to joke about Trump, a button will appear on screen allowing viewers to skip ahead, similar to how they’re able to skip a show’s intro. This button was evidently added at Meyers’ request, with the comedian telling CNN it “was a way to build in the response to anyone who would say, ‘Oh, let me guess, there’s going to be jokes about the president.'” He added, though, that the button itself is just “another joke,” one he doesn’t necessarily expect will be used.
