Police search for suspects in early morning accident

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking into yet another accident involving a vehicle and a building.

Sergeant Sascha Fesenko says they were called out to the 400-block of Battle Street West for an accident just after 12:30 AM this morning (Mon, Nov 4).

A small car went out of control, hitting a parked vehicle and retaining wall before coming to rest against a home. Sgt. Fesenko says two occupants left the vehicle and fled on foot. They are still at large.

No one inside the house was hurt and the home itself appeared to have received only minor damage.

Shortly after the incident, the owner of the vehicle reported it stolen. The investigation continues.
