Kamloops real estate sector bucks 2019 trend with big October
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops real estate sector continued to break out of its malaise with a big month of October.
According to new numbers from the Kamloops and District Real Estate Association (KADREA), 273 homes changed hands last month, an 18 per cent increase over the same month last year.
It’s the second straight month of year-over-year increases, and has the year-to-date total just five per cent lower than at the same point in 2018.
KADREA says the median home price was back over the half-million dollar mark, at $515,000, up six per cent from October of last year.
