Kamloops-based Jim Pattison Broadcast Group acquires stake in digital marketer Lift Interactive

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops-based Jim Pattison Broadcast Group (JPBG) is known for operating radio and television stations throughout Western Canada, but today is announcing an expansion of its digital realm.

JPBG has announced a partial acquisition of Edmonton-based Lift Interactive.

Founded in 2002, Lift Interactive is described as a digital marketing and design agency.

In a news release, Lift Interactive co-found Micah Slavens says he looks “forward to the exciting opportunities for growth and success with the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group.”

President Rod Schween says the partial acquisition will allow JPBG to “grow in the digital market and complement our offerings to our current and future clients.”

Schween says adding Lift Interactive will add significant capabilities in the areas of digital marketing, design and technology development.

All of Lift Interactive’s local management team and existing employees will remain in their current location.
