Kamloops’ Brown goes undefeated to win the Crown of Curling

KAMLOOPS —The Corryn Brown rink has made it back-to-back wins.

Two weeks after winning Abbotsford, the Kamloops quartet won the Crown of Curling.

Brown defeated Siyu Han from China 6-0 in six ends to claim the first place $4000 prize money.

After scoring two in the first end, the former Canadian Junior champion stole the fourth, fifth and sixth ends to put it to a handshake.

The Brown rink went undefeated at 5-and-0.

Brown and her team of Erin Pincott, Dezaray Hawes and Ashley Klymchuk will be in Nova Scotia next week for the Grand Slam of Curling Tier 2 Tour Challenge.

The Kamloops Crown of Curling men’s title went to Yuta Matsumura of Japan in a 7-5 win over Tyler Tardi of Surrey.
