KAMLOOPS — People in Kamloops are invited to come out and get to know their community, with the annual Know Your Neighbour Day Walk.

Today’s (Oct. 26) event originated in 2012, started by members of the Sikh community who honoured the birth date of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, who was the founder of the Sikh faith. According to the event’s description, the walk also honours his universal message of our common humanity.

The walk will begin at 11 am from Riverside Park, and will go from the park over the Overlanders Bridge, ending at the Henry Grube Education Centre.
