WolfPack qualify for gold medal game at National College Baseball Championship
KAMLOOPS —- Adam Filmon (Winnipeg, MB) hit a two run double in the top of the seventh inning to advance the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack to the championship final at the 2019 College National Baseball championships.
The two runs were part a three run seventh as the Pack came from behind to take the New Holland College Hurricanes 6-4 Friday (Oct 25) in the championship semi final.
Tyler Hodder (Fort McMurray, AB), one of the aces of the WolfPack pitching staff went the distance for the victory. He gave up four runs, struck out five and walked three.
Filmon was two for three with the two runs batted in and was named player of the game. Vance Fode (Bow Island, AB) was one for two and hit a two run blast in the first inning.
