Wind warning issued for North Thompson; Special weather statement continued for Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — A wind warning has been issued for the North Thompson Friday (Oct. 25), a day after a special weather statement was issued for parts of the Southern Interior.

Environment Canada says in the North Thompson, strong northwest winds of 70 km/h gusting to 90 km/h are expected today.

Strong winds may cause damage and loose objects could be tossed by the winds.

A special weather statement issued yesterday has been continued for the South Thompson and Fraser Canyon.
