Strong winds expected to hit Kamloops tonight and tomorrow

KAMLOOPS — Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for parts of the Southern Interior, including Kamloops.
Strong winds are expected to hit the Fraser Canyon, South and North Thompsons, the Cariboo and 100 Mile today and tomorrow, ahead of a low-pressure system that’s expected to cross the central Interior overnight.
Environment Canada says wind gusts up to 70 kilometres per hour are expected.
