Second teenager dies after weekend crash near Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Another teenager has died after a crash near Williams Lake early Saturday morning (Oct. 19).

Earlier this week, police said they believed alcohol may have been a factor in the crash that initially killed one woman and injured four others.

BC Coroners Service spokesperson Andy Watson tells CFJC Today that two females in their teens have died as a result.

The first woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the other four occupants were taken to hospital.
