One dead, four injured after crash on Highway 20 west of Williams Lake
WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — RCMP believe alcohol may have been a factor in a crash that took a life and injured four others near Williams Lake over the weekend.
According to a news release from Williams Lake RCMP, the crash happened Saturday (Oct. 19) at about 3:30 a.m., 15 kilometres west of Williams Lake on Highway 20.
When first responders arrived, they found a GMC pickup truck had rolled off the road.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene and four other occupants were taken to hospital with injuries ranging from serious to critical.
