NICK JONAS PRODUCING NEW NETFLIX ROMANTIC COMEDY SERIES ‘DASH & LILY’: Nick Jonas is teaming with Shawn Levy for a romantic comedy series called Dash & Lily. Filming has already started on the project, which should debut next year. Based on the young adult book series Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares, the eight-episode series follows New York City teens Dash, played by Austin Abrams and Lily, played by Midori Francis. During the holiday season, the two “trade dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they pass back and forth” across New York, according to Deadline.

WHITNEY HOUSTON JOINS PENTATONIX FOR CHRISTMAS CLASSIC ON UPCOMING BEST-OF HOLIDAY ALBUM: Pentatonix member Scott Hoying took to Twitter to announce that the group’s upcoming compilation, The Best of PTX Christmas, included a guest appearance by Whitney Houston. He added that the song would be coming “SOON.” The tweet shows the album track listing. The song “Do You Hear What I Hear” is listed as having a guest artist, whose name is blacked out, but if you hit “play” on the Instagram post of the track list, her name is slowly revealed. Whitney recorded “Do You Hear What I Hear” in 1987 for the benefit album A Very Special Christmas. Other guests on the album include Kelly Clarkson, Tori Kelly, Jennifer Hudson, Jazmine Sullivan and Maren Morris.

LIAM PAYNE RELEASES ACOUSTIC ‘STACK IT UP,’ TEASES ‘BIG ANNOUNCEMENT’: Liam Payne has released an acoustic version of his latest single, “Stack It Up,” and also promised a “big announcement” is coming soon. In the video for the acoustic version, Liam sings a stripped-back rendition of the tune he co-wrote with Ed Sheeran. Backed by two guitarists, he performs against a wall covered in neon signs. “My acoustic version of #StackItUp is out now everywhere!” Liam tweeted. “Thank you for all the support on the song so far. Keep an eye out for a big announcement soon…” He later teased, “I hope you are all enjoying the acoustic version of #StackItUp. Lots of new things coming [soon].”

JUSTIN BIEBER SAYS THERE’S NO BEEF BETWEEN HIM AND TAYLOR SWIFT: Following the recent drama between Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun and Taylor Swift, the Biebs wants to assure people that he has no beef with Taylor. When asked by paparazzi Thursday if he and Taylor were “cool,” Justin responded, “Always homies.” He added, “I’m done with all that other stuff. Other people’s drama is not my drama.” In a Tumblr post back in June, Taylor called out Scooter for buying the rights to her master recordings from her former label, Big Machine Records, in defiance of what she said were here expressed wishes. She also accused Justin of teaming up with Scooter to bully her in the past. Bieber apologized to Taylor on Instagram, but also defended Scooter and criticized Taylor for taking the disagreement public.
