JAMIE FOXX ROMANCE HEATS UP? Jamie Foxx hung out with Natalie Friedman for a third time, months after his split from longtime love Katie Holmes, The Blast reports. The site snagged video of Foxx and Friedman partying in New York with a gaggle of friends, including Lil Kim.
SCARJO TOUTS COLIN JOST’S PROPOSAL: Scarlett Johansson appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday to discuss her new film, The Marriage Story and her own marriage story with fianc Colin Jost, starting with his proposal. She said: “He did [do it in a romantic way], he killed it. “It was a very James Bond situation. It was surprising. He’s got a lot behind that news desk he’s hiding.” Johansson was previously married to Ryan Reynolds and Romain Dauriac. She and Dauriac share Rose, 5.
SELMA BLAIR TALKS CHEMO: A year after learning that she had multiple sclerosis, Selma Blair says that she felt like she was “out of options.” She was having trouble managing her pain and grappling with physical issues that can stem from MS. “The disease modifiers did not work for me at the time, and I was really declining more rapidly than I found acceptable,” Blair, 47, said during a panel at the TIME 100 Health Summit in New York City on Thursday. Eventually, she turned to chemo to restart her immune system. “I was warned,” she said. “You kind of make your plans for death, [and] I told my son I was doing this and he said he wanted me cremated. I had more chemo than they usually do for cancer patients, because they almost kill you. And it’s the stem cell that allows you to live with that amount of chemo. The chemo is the MS cure, if it does in fact happen.” She says she isn’t back to her old self, but she’s putting her best foot forward for her son. “My dream was just to lie next to my son at night and be there as long as I can.”
HOLLYWOOD FILM AWARDS TO HONOR AVENGERS: The Hollywood Film Awards will honor Avengers: Endgame and Pharrell Williams for the 2019 ceremony. The hit movie will take home the “Hollywood Blockbuster Award” after becoming the highest-grossing film of all time. Williams will receive “Hollywood Song Award” for his track, “Letter to My Godfather.” Ron Riggle will MC the event, which goes down Sunday, November 3rd at The Beverly Hilton.
