KAMLOOPS — In the final episode before the Oct. 21 federal election, Balance of Power host James Peters moderates a debate between four candidates vying for Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo: Green Party candidate Iain Currie, Conservative incumbent Cathy McLeod, Terry Lake of the Liberal Party and the NDP’s Cynthia Egli.
The candidates tackle the issues of leadership, climate change and the economy. Each candidate is given time uninterrupted to formulate a statement on the issue, followed by a spirited debate on that issue.
