With major construction at Royal Inland Hospital, Interior Health expands hours at Tudor Village Lab

KAMLOOPS — As construction of the massive Patient Care Tower continues to complicate movement around Royal Inland Hospital, Interior Health is trying to direct more patients to access services elsewhere in Kamloops.

Case in point, IH is expanding hours at the outpatient laboratory at Tudor Village on Summit Drive.

According to an IH news release, hours at the Tudor Village Lab will expand from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. starting next Monday (Oct. 21). The lab will no longer close between 11:30 and 1:00 p.m. for lunch.

As an added incentive, IH notes parking is free at the Tudor Village complex.

IH adds it is also improving accessibility to the Tudor Village Lab for patients with mobility challenges.
