Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson Heat Up

Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson continue to heat up Instagram.

The 26-year-old singer and the 22-year-old musician took to social media on Wednesday to share new photos. “Papillon,” Cody captioned the slideshow of images. He also posted a similar photo in his Stories, writing, “Death do us.”

Miley commented on his post, “Need. Oxygen. Can’t. Breathe. I. Stan. For. Ever. Ship.”

“Tat Queen / King @billyidol @perri.lister,” she captioned a similar, black-and-white mirror selfie of the duo.

In the pics, Cody shows off his toned torso in an unbuttoned shirt as Miley cuddles up close to him. Their new tattoos are also visible. Simpson got a skull and crossbones line drawing, backed by the grim reaper’s signature scythe tattooed on his right chest, while Cyrus got a more robust illustration of a bleeding heart with a knife pierced through it tattooed on the back of her right arm. The words “Rock n’ Roll Heart” are written in a ribbon across the heart-shaped art.

Meanwhile, Cody’s rep released a statement on his relationship with Miley. “It is early, but their friendship is long-standing and deeper than people realize. Though they originally met during their own wilder phases, they’re both sober now and are focused on health, work and spending time together. Seems pretty ideal to me,” Cody’s manager Matt Zeidman said to People in a statement.

Earlier this month, the musicians were spotted on a breakfast date shortly after Cyrus split from influencer Kaitlynn Carter following her separation from estranged husband Liam Hemsworth. Since then, the new couple have been heating up, posting cozy selfies on social media and documenting their time together. Over the weekend, Simpson also joined his new girlfriend and her mom, Tish, for lunch in Los Angeles.
