Zary named to WHL team for Canada-Russia series

KAMLOOPS —- Blazers forward Connor Zary has been named to the Western League team for the Canada-Russia series in Saskatoon and Prince Albert next month.

Zary, who played for Canada at the Under-18 World Championship last spring, leads the Western Hockey League in scoring with 16 points on five goals and 11 assists.

With two assists in the Blazers 4-0 win over Swift Current last night, the 18-year old Zary has points in all of the first ten games of the season.
